Let's say that Naruto had died during his final encounter with Sasuke, and Sasuke lived through the action. Sasuke is still in the same bloody situation, losing his arm and being near death. But let's say that his ideals didn't change and he still wants to kill the Gokage and rule the world with an iron fist.

Kakashi and Sakura arrive and both are in the same shape as they were when they arrived in canon. Sasuke informs them of his unchanged plans and will still try to do the same thing. Kakashi knows that Sasuke has to be killed and will talk to Sakura about it. What do you think Sakura will do when she hears Sasuke's unchanging thoughts and Kakashi's proposal?

Now keep in mind that Sasuke can barely move his head, and is spent on chakra. Meaning he can't do anything if they try to kill him. Let's say that kakashi need Sakura's assistance because he can't move that much either.
