If team Gai was there They might have killed maybe 2 bodies, well only if Gai himself went super saiyan mode. but I think anyone from the village has potential to kill the robot bod. All he really does is shoot missiles.

Pain would wipe them out before they get to do anything with shinra tensei (or another tensei i am not sure which one is stronger xD). There is no freakin' way that team gai would kill even one body (kakashi wasn't able to kill one and jiraiya barely killed one)...

If Team Gai was there after Pain's 1st Huge Shinra Tensei/Almighty Push, They Would Have Kicked Some Serious Butts Bro, And They are No.1 In Tactics After Kakashi Of Course so that makes them No.2

How is Guy going to deal with Pain if His Rival Kakashi could not? Speed would be cancel by the gravity attraction and re-paling power of Pain. No Pain was made for Naruto to face only.

as I explained in the previous quite, or you could say they at least would be able to deal great Damage to take at least 1 of those Pain Down, Especially the one which Absorbs Chakra Moves and the one who resurrects The Dead Pain Bodies...

TenTen killing pain ? The whole village including Kakashi and a whole bunch of Jounin and ANBU weren't able to do very much about Pain. Why would the least gifted shinobi ever be able to even touch Pain. She has no taijutsu or genjutsu skills at all she can only throw kunai and stuff at a body that doesn't feel pain. The robot guy has lasers and missles and killed the 6 tails.

Jiraiya kill some of Pain's bodies and still died. Team Guy would have hard time fighting Jiraiya. No Pain was made for Pain. Team Guy is not in the same league of Naruto.

I agree. However, it depends on Kishi(he was making Naruto a hero). God Realm and Animal Realm were the most troubling ones. Hell Realm was pretty weak as well(Lose to Konohamaru).

No, I'm pretty sure if Team Gai was there, then this thread would instead be a flame thread. People fought with all they had to stop Pein, and would have even given up their life to protect the village. The upside was no one took their own life, Pein did all the killing, so in which, he can bring back who he killed. If Gai was there, maybe even Lee by now too, then both or just Gai would have opened the Death Gate in the hope to defeat Pein or atleast more then just 1 body. The effect of the Death Gate though is that it gives you the most boost in power but you die right after it. In which, the Death Gate would have caused Gai's death (maybe Lee too if he used), and in doing so, Pein wouldn't be able to bring them back for he was the one who never killed them. With this, Gai, and possibly Lee too, would be out of the manga and anime completely. They're strong, but I doubt they're smart enough like Kakashi, Jiraiya, or Minato to leave something behind that would be a key to a serious problem.

if guy and neji were the one who had backed up kakashi against pein yahiko then they would've made it harder for him...the two meat tanks were very slow that time but if gai and neji was there it would be entirely different...besides, kakashi wouldn't even die if the same things happened because neji would just perform his chakra spin from the last missile attack of robot pain...
