What would happen if Itachi went to help Naruto instead of Tobirama?

Those of you who believe Itachi was a better Shinobi than Tobirama, how do you think story would change if the moment 4 Hokage headed to the battlefield, Tobirama was replaced with Edo Tensei Itachi?

Assume Itachi still has his eye he lost when he used Izanami.

I personally believe Tobirama was a great Shinobi and is one of my favorite characters. But I wonder what you think would happen differently.

Try to think about it seriously. Would the result be different?

Well for starters, Madara would be sealed, because he would have hit him with the Totsuka from behind instead of Sasuke's Amaterasu.

Itachi would have been blitzed. If Itachi was there instead of Tobirama, then Naruto and Sasuke would have been dead and Minato would have been destroyed.

Basically, Juubito would have fodderized.

For one they wouldn't know about Juubiti using yin yang and that it could kill them, he can't use the barrier since it was said only the Hokages could use it, he wouldn't have been able to do anything to stop the TSB from exploding killing Sasuke and Naruto, Tobirama's FTG mark wouldn't be on Juubito so they wouldn't have hit him with the Enton+FRS, no hitting him with Naruto's SM Rasengan, oh and no giving Kabuto advice to save Sasuke so Sasuke dies by Madara stabbing him.

Itachi have lower chakra reserve as an Edo, he wouldn't keep Susanoo up after his chakra is out and Obito being faster them him would result in Itachi getting killed since they wouldn't know that getting hit from the TSB can kill the Edo's. Same for Minato then Naruto and Sasuke die. From Juubi putting up the barrier and killing everyone inside it. Sasuke was planning on taking Juugo and Naruto and do what he did against Deidara but they'll be caught in IT and still lose. Also Yang Kurama was out/low on chakra at that point so Minato dying takes Yin Kurama out who lend Yang Kurama chakra 2 times in that fight.

Kishi does things this way so things can last longer. Tobirama is great and all but their was literally no use for him. He was only useful because of ftg and minato has that and uses it better so he was useless. He just tagged along because sasuke needed to hear how much tobirama hated uchiha

You can't just "give" the Totsuka blade and Yata mirror. This is where Orochimaru failed. The two items are manifestations of Itachi's raw and indomitable power and intellect. Hence the reason they are bound to his susanoo.

Because sasuke with rinnegan and 9 bijuu power plus yata and totsuka would have put him on a level of his own. Just with.rinnegan he was on par with the rikudo. Yata would.have.made his.defense impregnable and totsuka would.have made.him.a one hit.striker

They are weapons that existed before itachi if they didn't than orochimaru wouldn't even have known about them.

Tobirama has faster reflexes and Goshun Mawashi can't be used with only one person. It was only thanks to his intel that they managed to progress in the first place. Following the original sequence of events, they can't even erect the barrier without Tobirama. Edo Madara's Susano'o would ramroll Itachi's Susano'o.

According to the original sequence of events, no pin-sharp Tobirama around = Exploded orb which wipes out Naruto, Sasuke and Minato. Leaving Itachi on his own against a Juubi Jin, fancy his chances?

Lol, no. Itachi obtained the tools, he didn't always have them. If he wanted to give it away, he could have. He implanted a crow with MS inside Naruto. And he implanted Amaterasu within Sasuke. I'm sure giving away his items isn't difficult.

For the record, that bomb wouldn't have wiped out Naruto and Sasuke. Minato had it, just because Tobirama got there first doesn't mean minato wasn't.

Whether Minato would've regenerated is also unclear, because no one really knows exactly how Onmyoudon works, but I think his body would've regenerated since it's just an explosion.
