Even if Itachi himself tries to stop him, after all Sasuke wants answers, and this is only possible if Itachi survives as an Edo.

So my prediction is that he is going to go full power and finish Kabuto off, once and forever

I think Itachi won't have a chance to say much, but whatever he says, Sasuke would be still full of hatred and anger, and will take it all out on Naruto.
But I'm sure that Itachi will say something meanigful, that will leave a seed of doubt in Sasuke's heart, and lead to his redeeming in the fight with Naruto. Somehow.
