What will Minato think of Hinata?

As long as Naruto doesn't giver Hinata attention in any way He wouldn't say anything. Why would he?

If however Naruto did do something or introduce her as his girlfriend or someone close to him he wouldn't have any reason to not approve.

And to people arguing about Kushina's comments, those are only relevent in terms of forshadowing. It's not like Naruto would say "Well Hinata I do love you and want to be with you, but my dead parents who's never met you or really even met me thinks I should go for someone more like my mother whom I've really only met during a relatviely short conversation I had with her from within myself.

Parents don't choose partners for their kids especially not after being absent during said childs childhood. They can at most make sure they don't end up with someone with crazy eyes.

Honestly, I think Kushina's comment to Naruto and Naruto's comment about Hinata are taken out of context.

Kushina is, basically, telling him to go with a girl who loves him and who is willing to stand beside him - as Kushina was with Minato.

Naruto was saying: "I used to think you were just a shy and weird person." - Which was after they had a talk about having the will to stand up after failing and having inner strength. Naruto was, basically, saying: "I like that you're quiet, but have the same guts."

Because, obviously, by Chapter 615, Hinata is not "just some weird girl."

I think we'll have to see what ends up happening during the war... as all we're likely to see at this point is a thought-bubble if Minato takes note of Hinata's interest in Naruto.

There's not really a good time to hold a conversation - though I could see another Kiba-esque comment to rib at him.
