Well i guess that is the most obvious answer but can't stop thinking it is just too obvious.......now i remember there was this talk back in the manga about a jutsu that Minato wanted naruto to perfect after gain control of the nine tails did we find out what that jutsu might be and could this be that said jutsu......the thing is i would guess that the other half of the nine tails chakra would just return to him when the belly of the reaper was cut just like how Orochimaru hands went right back to him.....
