With Minato teaching Naruto, Naruto wouldn't have been paired with Sasuke because Naruto would of scored higher on tests from studying and practicing instead of making trouble so the villiage HAD to notice him and with that said both Sasuke and Naruto would have been in different squads, they pair the high scoring students with the low scoring students to get a good average over all the squads so they can all grow at the same rate and become amazing shinobi together. If Naruto wasn't paired with Sasuke, Sasuke would have died against Haku. without the nine tails Naruto wouldn't have been able to defeat Gaara after Orochimaru attacked the Leaf, i could only imagine what would happen if Pain attacked the Leaf, although Naruto fought Pain and didn't use the nine tails for most of it because he had sage mode plus Naruto convinced Nagato to stop but without the help of the nine tails chakra he would of died agains Yahiko's corpses and the Leaf would of been completely destroyed... Could only imagine how the war would go without Nine tails Naruto or leaf shinobi.
