I think he will put up a good fight against Kabuto for a few more chapters but in the end lose his life(kabuto FTW!)

He can't lose his life and have Kabuto win, he's already dead and an Edo zombie. Most likely the bros will defeat Kabuto and force him to end the Edo Tensei at which point Itachi will disappear after saying something to Sasuke like "don't be an *******". (small chance he'll be re-controlled by Kabuto and have to fight Sasuke again but I don't think this will happen.)
