What do you all think the Shinobi World Wars were like? I became interested in them with all the debates about Sasuke's revolution, and realized that we really don't know much about them (beyond the sides involved). So what do you think they were like, do you think they were comparable to any real life conflicts?
Here's what I think:
First Shinobi World War- Comparable to the First World War, revolutionized fighting tactics, much bloodshed, caused by aggressive leaders rising to power, ended in an armistice that would contribute greatly to the next war, let much of the ninja world devastated (Narutowiki)
Second Shinobi World War- Similar to the Second World War, began when countries needed money and food due to losses from the first war, officially started when countries aggressively increased their borders on false pretexts. Saw even more bloodshed. The violence of the war would force a revolution in medical science/jutsu. Th war would inevitably involve many small nations (such as Amegakure). The horrors of the war are still remembered by the start of the series and formed many characters back stories (Nagato's, Kakashi's as Sakumo likely went on his failed mission during this war, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru's, Sasori's, Chiyo's).
Third Shinobi World War- Similar to the Korean and Vietnam Wars, with no sides officially winning or gaining anything, and the wars ending when leaders became wary of all the bloodshed.
Fourth Shinobi World War- I really don't know, all I could think of is the Second Wizard War in Harry Potter, but that wasn't real.
Warring State Period- Like the real Warring States Period in China and Japan, though likely bloodier.
What do you guys think? Also, if you can think of any other wars to include, please do so, if you wish.
