I see. I am the opposite at times when I know certain characters would not behave accordingly, and the author peformed or wrote the action/sequence in a way to make it completely unbelievable. Leaving the reader to question is this an "asspull"

I thought it was a decent way for Obito to go out, and it also provided closure for the Kakashi/Obito relationship.

I remember when that chapter came out. As the chapters would be released around 3 am where I live, I would read them first thing in the morning. Woke up, saw that the new chapter had been uploaded, read it, and I was just WTF!? Glanced at some threads on NB trying to explain that scenario "logically" and just went back to sleep.
