What was up with Itachi's taijutsu in the latest anime

He was fighting Naruto equally, who a few episodes ago moved so fast he reminded A of Minato who can teleport and also has a significant portion of Kyuubi's strength. And then Itachi was easily avoiding Bee's sword dance attacks, which Sasuke who has ridiculously fast speed, had a difficult time with. Damn, Itachi's taijutsu is kind of beast, no?

That thought did also cross my mind but i think it may have been for dramamtic effect, cool none the less though...

Itachi's move against 1/22 of KM Naruto was nice, but against Bee's blades tbh i was under the impression that i was seeing a scaredy cat fleeing away in fear to be owned by the Bee's blade. Animation was totally bad there contradicting the manga

It was kind of like that in the manga as well.
But do remember Edo Itachi was dead, and Kabuto was using his full potential whereas in life he was constantly stated to have been either ill or not trying.

They dumb down Naruto's combat quite a bit all the time. Notice that Tailed Beast Mode Naruto NEVER speed blitzed Obito. I'm pretty sure he would've beaten obito before he went into the Kamui.

Itachi has a 5 for speed in the databook.

MS Sasuke, who has 4.5 in the databook, was able to dodge the blow of the Raikage. This is the same Raikage that Naruto initially had trouble getting past.

When you look at the facts it's not so hard to see why Itachi can fight KM Naruto like that.

Sasuke's Sharingan couldn't keep up with Bee.

Bee's nanatoyru has a faster attack rate than Naruto's taijutsu.

So it's pretty logical if Itachi can fight Naruto.

If he didn't give Bee the information Bee would have died multiple times. Also without Nagato telling them about Itachi's first attack one of them may have died.

I forgot about that, that does hinder Naruto in combat mentally but there is no physical strain. So it was only his focus that was off, nothing wrong with Naruto physically though.

he has kakashi level taijutsu, around that level

He's faster than kakashi and is good at using Body flicker..which is what you saw in the anime..
Still not anywhere close to what ftg speed is or A v2
