What was the Sharigan's main Achievement?

(Besides Susanoo), Its been stated time after time and glorified that the sharigan can control the bijju's, so i mean it was to far fetch that Sasuke would absorb the chakra, i mean it was unexpected, but it wasn't to far fetch

Rinnegan absorbs chakra. Sasuke's rinnegan might be able to absorbs it remotely. People are having a problem with that?
