A few years back, during summer I went to a nearby mountain with my parents and sister since my hometown city is very close to it. Once we reached the base of the mountain I decided to take a walk alone and went deeper and upwards into the forest there. It was day time, but the sudden rustling of leaves behind me still gave me cold sweat. I turned around, and there it was - a snake with triangle-like pattern on its body, which I knew was a viper. That thing was staring at me from like 3 meters, completely still. Naturally I was frozen in place since I knew one bite would be the end of me, and then... much more silently than the snake came a freaking centipede. It wasn't too big for a wildlife centipede, from what I remember about 10cm, but it was crawling towards me (almost making me lose it), which made it get in the way of the viper - and then the latter just lunged at it in a blink. I didn't stay around to see who the winner of the death battle was - I would've probably outran Usain Bolt at that time with the fear motivating me.
I could hardly believe it when I remember it now, but it did happen. And now... I prefer the beach as a summer activity. :lol
That sounds horrible. I've always wanted to witness a tornado, though seeing one from anything less than 10 kilometers between us is a no-no, especially an F5.
