What was the point of the

FTG Kunai panel in 599 I can't figure it out.

It wasn't the FTG which was important; it was showing the 3 gifts Kakashi or Obito was given... (the present from rin, minato being his sensei, perhaps? And Obito's Sharingan).

It was one of the gifts presented to kakashi on his birthday, on the same panel you can see rin and obito giving kakashi gitfs also

I think it could be symbolising Minato or perhaps saying it was him who fought Minato

I have no idea but i do know Obito is a frikin badass

I just thought of something maybe kakashi is carrying around one of minatos ftg kunai and he may give it to naruto and maybe naruto will use it against tobi hmmm...
