No matter what race you are, why does everyone find every other race but their race at fault. Im black but doesn't mean I have to blame white people. Just like white people shouldn't blame crime on black people. Black and white people shouldn't 9/11 on Muslims. You know what causes war? BLAME

Even though it was the Muslims that caused 9/11...Not blame but truth.
Though it does have something to do with power, wealth, greed, resources ,and religion.
Religious war, motivated by groups attempting to spread its faith by violence,etc such as the Crusades, the Reconquista, and the French Wars of Religion.

Non-religious war such as The American Revolution,The French Revolution,The US Civil War,World War I,World War II,ETC.

War caused by racism (discrimination): US Civil War,WWll,ETC

So it's not blame but history and not forgetting it.

I don't know, greed, rage, hate, ambition, there's a hundred possibilities of why there's war. And only one possible solution to eradicating it....tolerance and understanding.
Well, that's my philosophical input for the day

Those who are saying "Religion" also probably think that was the reason for the multiple Crusades during the 11th - the 13th centuries. When it was over land.

The truth is that food, water sources, land & simple clan rivalries [in that order] are the cause of most of histories wars. Currently the reasons are different because the values are different, along with the tactics of war. Think about it - most of the world has much more access to the resources of food & water than 1,000 years hence there for people fight over different things. In addition countries are more or less out of the control of world events - it's multinational corporations who really hold power over resources. These resources are: oil, cheep labor & arid-able land. The last is different than simply land - just look at what corporations are doing with the land we have after the rain-forests are cleaned.

To whom it may concern - the plundering of costal Europe done by Vikings was only part of what they did. They were also merchants, mercenaries, soldiers, farmers & explorers. The reason for piracy was, again, food and tradable goods which one could buy food with. Not saying that sexual assault didn't happen - but that was more of a result rather than a goal.

Also - there is seriously some thing wrong with a person who will put LOL after a statement about rape. -REP

Hmmm...humans fighting other humans has always confused me. We're supposed to be smart, yet we're so incredibly stupid.

If everyone was mixed together though, and there was no governments, I still have to wonder what it would be like...would people just takes sides again and divide?

We're always finding ways to be better then someone/something/anything, so yeah I guess we'd just find ourselves taking sides and dividing because we're never satisfied with most things.

Orignal war that still rages on is the one that the devil started when he challenged the almight that is what life is all just a test and a war within and without well outside you cannot have true peace in this life it is impossible because their is always an ememy i.e. devils that attack you in a know physical way also true peace will be in a paradise not a life that is mearly a test
