The first game that I think I ever played was probably one of the Mario games on the NES. Then I remember when I upgraded to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the SNES. That game was so epic. lol

How about you guys?

On an actual console I think it was either Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo, or Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis.
The Sega Genesis, I remember playing the Sonic games on it. I also spent quite a bit of time playing the Lion King on that system. That was a haaaaarrrrddd game when I was younger. XD

Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast. :D
The early Sonic games were always the best to start your video game addiction out with. :)

I'm pretty sure , the very first one was Mario indeed. Then Pokemon followed by zelda. Then my gaming life began.

Might i bring up that Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core - One of the Best games out there!!

Seems you remember that day vividly. lol I wish I could remember the first day I picked up a video game, but I was too young to remember. lol

I think it was Crash Bandicoot.
That is one game I never played. Partly due to the fact that I never owned a PS1. But I used to watch my brother play it when he used to visit for the Summer or Winter.

I never finished playing Crisis Core. I got tired of my PSP shortly after I got that game. I think I was near the end also.
