Sarada is filling in the classic damsel archetype and will most likely will be doing just what others have stated; calling out to Boruto to save everyone while shedding tears.

Well you're not wrong, Sarada is the main female heroine of the next generation series so you can't expect them to go above and beyond.

Nah don't fall for that BS, even though Kishi reversed himself after 700+ chapters it's still a reversal in regards to the damsel archetype.

Pretty much. You see the same thing in the Gaiden:

> Sakura needing to be saved by otherwise Shin gaining dominance over her in the Naruto Gaiden
> Naruto and Sasuke cleaning up the mess with the Shin's after the side characters have their ploys

In the Boruto Movie

> After Boruto mans up, he begins to take charge. Sarada is afraid and backs down, Boruto notices this and stands forward.
> Boruto actually defeats the enemy along with Sasuke in contrast to the Gaiden where Naruto is the one who silenced all the Shin clones with Kurama-scare.

Pretty much it's themes being repeated. So far it's either Naruto or Sasuke cleaning up the mess or the new main protagonist.

Boruto literally gets the pass cause of 'MC' privileges, but Naruto/Sasuke still do 99% of the work. And the female cast is the female cast.

Boruto is still the main character and you can never expect Mitsuki and Sarada to outdo him in terms of involvement in major fights.

Sarada will be a good shinobi but i don't doubt for a second BUT inconsistencies in her characters circumstances will prevent her from being a part of some things.

So i do believe some times she will need to be saved when realistically she shouldn't. Writing techniques.
