what was obitos purpose to powerup sasuke

He was happy to see sasukes power to go in darkness and become stronger.
But why?! Does he want sasuke also become member of the genjutsu leaders? I really dont know.
I dont think sasuke want a kind of fake world like that. He wont cooperate.

I looked at Obito more as Sasuke's teacher, Obito is already evil so he wants Sasuke to be evil to. He wanted Sasuke to fight Naruto and get the Kyuubi for him, and hook Sasuke up with the Mazo after Nagato died, he had the senju DNA to give him which would be needed to unlock the Rinnegan and control the Mazo.

He already said his purpose for manipulating Sasuke was to sync him to the gedo. It was probably for two reasons. 1.) Nagato was dead and he needed another pawn. 2.) We know Madara was supposed to be revived with the rebirth Jutsu and Obito would have smooth talked Sasuke into reviving him.

Lastly Kishi uses cycles a lot. Madara manipulated a young Uchia and Obito was doing the same.
