what was kishi smoking when he said all three sanin were equal? there is no way stunade is in the same league as j-man. j-man has enough power in sage mode to obliterate stunade in one giant rasegan. J-man could have beat or come close to beating pain if he wasn't trick by him, where as stunade probably died by one. orichimaru could also obliterate stundade. The only sanin i belied that could have equal is J-man and orichimaru sense they could never kill each other, but i think J-man could have been stronger. i believed j-man could have been stronger because of his feats in the manga. i believed he could defeated zetsu all by himself long time ago and be more than a joke to madara than those fodder kages (of course he would need those fodder kage help ).

but stunade wouldn't able touch them to begin with. but orochimaru and j-man outclass stunade in very field except medical ninjustu and maybe stamina.

I've always thought the same thing. It's kinda obvious that they outclass her in almost every aspect, especially at the level Jiraiya was before he died and the level Oro is at now. But there are things that she's better than them in (ie. Medical jutsu, pure physical strength, and probably stamina.)

Well, Tsunade would be able to recover from most of the attacks that Oro and Jirayia throw at her for some time, meaning that they might exhaust themselves in the process, but then again so would Tsunade. But overall, yeah, Jirayia and Oro are stronger than Tsunade

I'm sorry, what is all this, why is there suddenly a thread bashing tsunade. r u serious? tsunade is a MEDICAL shinobi. she is a medical shinobi before anything else, even against madara at the start she stood back and supported the other kages with medical jutsu until she used the byakugo. the other two are actual shinobi who have improved only their abilities while tsunade actually contributed to the shinobi system by added a medical ninja to each platoon.

but that aside tsunade won't be that easy to beat. and i don't see any of them beating her until her byakugo runs out, even SM jiraiya. even if orochimaru using edo tensei on the kages, hashirama would just break out and turn on him.

The thing U r forgetting is that they were called sanin b4 we actually knew then and after the title they furthered their jutsu and order goes orochimaru, tsunade and jiraiya - why oro immortal, suna 1/2 immortal and j-man just power boost

I hink it has less to do with fighting abilities and more to do with there abilities in general. I believe Jiraiya has the best fighting potential, but tsunade got chopped in half and is still kicking. She hits hard but has nowhere near the speed or Orochimaru or the cleverness. Orochimaru has a good range of jutsu but Jiraiya sage mode would destroy oro.

One thing people forget is that one jutsu might not work on another person as well as the original. Jiraiya, oro and, tsunade all have astounding abilities but no one abilitty is more useful.
