Most of that stuff was said out of other sources than the manga. Realistically Hinata never really got a fight prove herself. I suggest waiting on the movie before judging her strength as a character. Overall being a Hyuuga as she is, she has potiential to negate Sakura. That thread you got rustled over, was talking about based on potiential. Not based on feats that were shown.
