What was actual reason for oro attacking leaf ?

Was rewatching when sauce talks to hokage and there was flash back where oro told sauce he did it on whim but then sauce says I know there's more to it what did that mean did they ever explain it ? If not what do u think


Personally I think he was both gathering research and also helping the leaf in a way (to prepare for when ever pain attacked village) (if u notice their security def got better etc. they had fore front healer which negated a lot of casualty .. Only prob is they didn't have a fore front fighter ... And had to rely on a child (naruto) if gai was there it b different lol maybe he was forefront then again Danzo should've gotten his old ass out there so what yall think?

I think ORO wanted to simply test his power.......and maybe he did want to prepare the leaf for the Akatski....


He wanted to beat hiruzen for not trusting him as hokage........he was crazy at the time........

I think he was testing his power. He wanted to know how well had the results of his test gotten. By that time, Akatsuki was already haunting his ass to kill him for leaving the organization, so he could have wanted to test if he was ready for that. Also, maybe he wanted akatsuki to know he wasn't a push over, letting them know he killed Hiruzen the 3rd hokage.

I think those were his motives.

He did it because something is not quite right with the Leaf Village and it may have something to do with the death of his parents. That or something more sinister since the leaf village was okay wiping out the Uchiha Clan. Who's to say they never did such a thing before?

Revenge. Simple and plain, Oro had a grudge against Hiruzen. He went there that day to kill him.
