Cause they had/have Hashirama, Tobirama, Madara, Hiruzen, Minato, The Three Sannin, Gai, Obito, Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, shisui, and many other great ninja. That's why I would chose the village hidden in the leafs.
