first of all... the CLAN was not destroyed.. their village was... they disspersed and went into hiding.. obviously i'm sure some of them have died during the attack and also over the years but i'm sure there are plenty of them left.

The clan wasn't wiped out as C WET stated they went into hiding, there are probably loads still out there. Karin is alive and Nagato was recently alive as well as Naruto. With there life force there are most likely loads of them out there

The clan was not slayed it dispersed, and the village got wrecked by different villages.


Their sealing jutsu and life forced made them universally feared, so the villages wiped their village out and forced them into hiding.

Their Village was destroyed during third shinobi war, but since there sealing abilities were well known and Tobi used Nagato from there clan (claims to gave him rinnegan),Madara also knows about them so i wouldn't be surprised if they are somehow involved in there demise.
