What underlines the staggering difference between Sasuke and Itachi

Sasuke had a legendary sannin as a teacher for 3 years... Itachi never had a teacher and was still that strong.

Think about that. A 13 year-old, who never really had a teacher, wiping out all those Uchiha clan members. Even if he had help from Obito, that's just insane.

Itachi taught himself how to be a great shinobi. Sasuke had to go through tutoring.

Itachi was extremely rare, no one can live up to his progress as a shinobi and he peaked too quickly.

There are many differences in the two characters. Sasuke to me has always been a young child in nature and has outbursts of emotions in tense situations. He just wants to be that kid who got piggy back rides from Itachi again.
Itachi is more mature. His tremendous skill and talent allowed him to progress faster up the ninja ladder than his peers. He had to grow up fast though. Itachi had to do what was necessary in his opinion and he's wise. The lines are his face shows his wisdom and astuteness.
