@Bold: Naruto always had the upper hand in sensing so it would make sense for him to ask Naruto to sense them when they got close, but inter-dimensional sensing is something Naruto can't do and Sasuke was shown to be able to do so on multiple occasions, which is probably due to his Rinnegan.

The 2 translations are quite different but they are not contradictory, just because we didn't see Sasuke's portal doesn't mean they did not travel dimensions (Sasuke mentioned it which is enough to assume they did). And even without that, remember what connects Shin and the others to Naruto's dimension is the mini-Juubi with his Kamui-like S/T.

I really wouldn't count Limbo since it can be seen and even hit by someone on the physical plane provided the person has the right kind of chakra. If it were in another dimension then Naruto wouldn't be able to hit the Limbo because it's body wouldn't exist there :wut:

Limbo's different, Naruto could sense Limbo because it's physically in the same field of existence (It can inflict and receive physical damage) but it's visually none existent to the average eye (Sasuke's Rinnegan is the only exception).

Naruto specifically stated that he could not sense Sakura's chakra after she was teleported.

I would say Rinnegan grants some type of sensory power since Nagato and Madara wasn't known sensors until they had Rinnegan. That could be it.
