I thought ssj4 was bad ass. he was basically a controlled great ape transformation. the only thing that was dumb was kid goku becoming an adult. I liked how they went back to the apes and tails

From SSJ3 to it the consistincey is ****ing ruined.

First he turns into a golden great ape, then he becomes small and gets red and black hair , eye liner, red eyes and his eyebrows are back?

it doesnt follow on from ssj3 thats why. as you said its merely the small version of golden great ape. hence the fur.

this mode shouldn't even be considered ssj, it just doesn't fit.

its never said that ssj should exclusively be gold hair. god forbid a little creativeity. god.

actually he said he loved it and praised it heavily. and even if he thought it sucked it wouldnt be the reason why its not canonical. not that cnaon is important in any sense except for a factual debate. which this isnt.
