What Triggered The First Shinobi World War ?

The history of the early generation of Konoha is shrouded in mystery.There is also the question to how Hashirama died.Madara must be behind it in some way.I highly suspect the scene with madara and young onoki was right before or during the first world war because the first died before it began so i was thinking his death triggered the war or his absence allowed it to happen.This ties in with the theory others and myself believe that uzumaki were the sages pure bloodline.We know the uzumaki were alive during hashiramas reign as kage.I suspect Madara got them massacred during the war.Why ? Because the Uzumaki could seal the beast and madara could not let that happen since his goal is to capture all the tailed beast.And for that to happen he had to take them out of the picture or they could of stripped the powers of the tailed beast away from him.Well that is the jist of it i will have a thread up by next week explaining in detail.Do you have a theory on the mystery surrounding the first world war and the death of hashirama ?

I think so too madara said onoki should obeys the leaf now in that one flashback chapter madara was on the hunt for the beast since hashi could no longer stop him.Hashi distributed them to ease tensions and then not too much later the entire shinobi world was in chaos just what exactly happened for that to happen ? Not many wonder about that.

I think the reason Naruto doesn't go in depth with all of its histories is because they are in a way irrelevant, unless they add to the mysteries behind a lot of the plot development. Naruto is more about Naruto's growth and ultimate destiny to be a savior, per se, so that is why I think Kishimoto does not include all history.

I believe that the first great ninja war was sparked due to the nations being so new and all, maybe greed played a big part in the war. greed for power, land and dominance. But another cause could be a controversy like when the byakugan was almost stolen.
