What to upgrade?

Hey guys, I currently have a lenovo Y-510p laptop with 8GB of ram, a 128GB m4 SSD, and an ultrabay where I switch 2 different hdds (1TB and 500GB respectively) and a dvd drive. I was wondering what I should upgrade. Ram to 16GB or SSD to 512GB M550. My price range is within $450, and I wouldn't mind buying more than one item on the list. I am currently considering buying the M550 SSD which is around $330 on Amazon. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks!

Most games and program's don't go past 8 ram...

Why would you want to upgrade anything beyond that? I have been using a 250GB HDD 4GB RAM i5 processor for 4 years and I have literally had no problems and I can play everything normally like LoL Dota, etc.

Any more than what you have is a huge waste of money unless your like mining bitcoins or doing illegal hacking, etc.
