10. Hagoromo can travel through time and watch his incarnations, yet has no knowledge of BZ.. okay im sure he would have seen the indra incarnation interacting with BZ

2. may be because Sharingan's work different with non Uchiha's. For instance, Kakashi couldn't turn his Sharingan when he had it, so maybe returning light to one's eye is impossible for a non Uchiha. Just speculation though ^^

Danzo isnt a Uchiha and Madara's eyes actually evolved, so that beings a unique case has nothing to contradict.
