Read todays chapter, felt relieved after knowing that hollows are the weakness of quincies

then i realised that main character Ichigo himself has both hollow and quincy powersO_O. .seriously wtf? . .how is he doing fine with that?

even the smallest portion of hollow power is poisonous for quincies, Ichigo is indeed a pure blooded quincy which is why he could use blut vein. .his hollow is indeed a monster and quincy juha as well. .

now i'm deeply upset with this type of plot. .kubo has some real explanation to do about it. .

what do you guys think about this shit?

The difference with Ichigo IMO though is that he effectively wields both powers, he isn't succumb to one specific power.

This explains why ichigo's Quincy powers were able to suppress his Shinigami powers.

Yeah it's really confusing but what the hell Ichigo has plot to protect him plus he's a soul reaper so that peobably helps to cancel it out. Personally though I recon he might end up the soul king since he has all three.

Well maybe its because he doesnt have the body of a quincy? idk, thats the best I can think of. He inherited his dads Shinigami body and just had the quincy powers, itd explain why he could hollify

Dude he has hollow powers and quincy powers along with shinigami powers, my question is if hollow powers are poisonous for quincies then how come ichigo isn't affected at all?. .

I think you're forgetting that Ichigo is also human and Shinigami. Ichigo is the only shown living being that has all known beings in the bleach universe incorporated into his body, so I guess that because he has all powers present in his one body they all balance each other out therefore creating a soul balance instead of the dreaded "Soul Suicide".

I like the way Kubo is going with this because I really cant think of any really obvious plot holes.

I think this could be how it works: Hollow power>Quincy power>Shinigami power>Hollow power. Meaning each power ultimately cancels each other out and therefore there isn't a clash or implosion of two anti-powers (E.G. Quincy & Hollow).


P.S. Ichigo ain't no pure Quincy. :|

He didn't inherit the DNA part from his mother which makes a Quincy body weak against Hollows.
Any Shinigami gene was just stronger. Like hair or eye colour which is sometimes given to the children and sometimes not.

There are several possible explanations and Kubo will choose one or build it up.
It's a good question though.
