He's probably doing it because he feels threatened.
I imagine it like he's the new kid in school, and the rest of the world are looking down at him for everything for the regime his father had.

To try and gain the respect of his generals, and presumably the world also, he's making extravagant threats in order to make the USA buckle their influence from South Korea. Of course, making threats of nuclear war won't get him any respect, but rather it will result in the breaking the country even more or wiping it off the map entirely.

If anything, China needs to stop sitting on the fence and discipline their 'child'.

Best army in the world? ROFLMAO! They have crappy outdated equipment from the WWII - Vietnam era at best. They're military hasn't had any actual combat outside of the occasional border skirmish since the 50s. So they don't really know how well their army actually operates. Not to mention compare them to America which has the most experienced, technological, and budgeted army with the best Air Force. China has the numbers to win any ground war. Australia has the best Navy. Nukes aren't even worth mentioning. Never gonna be used again.

Everyone is acting in an immature manner. Do you people honestly believe he is throwing out open threats if he didn't have any political lobby to back him up; aka different anti-American political regimes around the world? USA didn't waste any time to mow down Iraq, Afghanistan and not to mention their funding of rebel forces in Libya. What's stopping it from responding to these open nuclear threats? I would love to listen to a valid reason on this. You people are making this way too simple.
