What the ChoCho plotline is telling us

Chocho is questioning her heritage. Yet, of all the new generation, her heritage is probably more clear than any of the new generation. Basically we all think she's stupid for thinking Choji and Karui are not her actual parents. So what is the significance of this?

Its kishi telling us that he thinks we are crazy for actually believing Sakura is not Sarada's mother. He's playing both sides of it, but its clear to me he's using Chocho's naïve nature to tell us that we are being naïve to believe his trolling. I could be wrong on this, but I think its becoming more clear that Sarada is actually Sakura's and we are jumping to conclusions regarding Karin. Thanks for reading as always.
