What surprised/shocked you the most in Shippuden?

There are too many surprises, but the one that shocked me the most was the truth about Itachi. He was portrayed as an evil man during the entire series of old Naruto... but after his death we all realised how good of a person he was. Protecting the village from the outskirts; joining the Akatsuki to become a spy; never stop loving his brother... I just didn't see all of this coming.

In your opinion, what was the most unexpecting and shocking moment in Shippuden so far? I'll add a poll soon.

I have expected Itachi to be good his movements are always make's me feel that he is a good guy and I strongly belive that no one wil kill his own parents just to measure his capacity and I suprced when I realized that Minato is Naruto's father.......

I half-expected that. Kishi was very blunt in early shippuden that he didn't care for most of the side characters anymore :'(

Well, there are lot of them but I will choose 2.

first about Itachi, he is really a good man, really a good man He does evil things just for his loving village and brother. I really like Itachi being an evil but I like him more being a good man.


second about Obito, we all know that at first Tobi is just childish and good boy but he changed so much after. All my friends and classmates, even those who didn't read manga just watch Naruto, are gossiping about it and they blabbed it through internet even my internet friends does --I know it's not latest.

Itachi has always been my favourite character since before Shippuden. From the start he was just a villain killing his entire brethren with no mercy, only to realize that he did that heinous crime to protect his village and put his faith into them. For first I was shocked with that revelation but I knew his calm demeanour always makes me think that he was never that type of villain to Sasuke.
