Do you think it would be a good idea for me to reclass? For those who don't know, some athletes stay back a year to get more experience and more recognition from colleges. For better scholarships and to go to the best schools for the sport they play. Anyways, my coach told me my current skill level is D2 (Division 2 schools) at best but if I reclassed he would work with me and send me to a couple of basketball camps this summer. I have a couple of looks from D2 schools but I'm not sure if that's where I want to play at. Plus, every high school basketball player dreams of playing D1 (me included). So what do you think I should do? Graduate or stay back a year? Btw I'm a 6'4 SG/SF.
Oh and I also could play at a D2 college and get good enough to transfer to a D1 school.

Edit: I can't play until 2nd semester (january for my school).

Yeah but I would have even more experience staying back a year and better college looks.

If you have an opportunity for a full scholarship you should go for one of the D2 schools I'm telling you. You can work on your game there.

Even if you get into a D1 school you'll have to wait at least another year to start unless you're Michael Jordan. So including the year you stayed back it'll be at least two years before you get a good amount of PT.
