To talk about Tsukuyomi, i'll take Itachi as an example since he is the one who has been shown to use this jutsu perfectly.
Like Kisame explains
Side effect of Tsukuyomi:
To control the space time and objects in the tsukuyomi it also requires a great quantity of chakra, that's why the user of Tsukuyomi can't use that very ofter like Kakashi noticed:
Kisame who is Itachis partner since long time ago even warned him in more than one occasion not to use this eye ability against Kakashi, but also when he used it
Ways to possibly counter Tsukuyomi:
So basically it's what i think should be known about Tsukuyomi.
What do you think about my explanation?:ice:

, Tsukuyomi is a jutsu that is used to cause a breakdown in the opponents spirit. Itachi is the one to control how much time his tsukuyomi can last. Against Kakashi for example, it took

, when against Sasuke it took

. He probably manipulate his tsukuyomi depending on the opponent he faces if he thinks he is able to withstand it or not. Side effect of Tsukuyomi:

- Like every genjutsu, it can only be cast by eye contact, so if you avoid eye contact you're fine like Kakashi says here:

- Tsukuyomi like every genjutsu is also useless against a Kage Bunshin

- If you're a perfect Jinchuriki like Bee, your Tailed Beast can disturb your chakra during the Tsukuyomi, so by this way you won't even suffer the pain caused by Tsukuyomi. Before people begin to say that Tsukuyomi only last 1second, so it's impossible for the Tailed Beast to disturb your chakra, just to make you remember that time doesn't pass the same inside a Jinchuriki. Even recently we've seen that Naruto was able to discuss during a while with Jinchurikis and their Tailed Beast when outside it seems to not have taken even 1second. So since the time doesn't pass the same way inside a Jinchuriki, if he is caught by Tsukuyomi, the Tailed Beast will have more than enough time to disturb the chakra of his host, and counter it.
- Like i've explained, Tsukuyomi is used to breakdown the opponent spirit. Which means a strong will can withstand it. If your will is strong enough like Jiraya able to come back to life during his fight against Pain, you have a chance to survive Tsukuyomi even if you're not able to break it. Hidan who doesn't fear pain also has great chances to withstand Tsukuyomi as well. The same goes for Tsunade, and maybe others i forgot.
Kakashi for example was ableYou must be registered for see linksand still be able to control his chakra enough to stay on water after 72h of Tsukuyomi, so i believe that someone like Naruto who even has a much more greater will can withstand much more as well, but now i must admit there is no proof about that. It also depends on Itachi. He can create a Tsukuyomi that also last much more longer as well, but i suppose it will also drain his chakra much more, so if after 72h of tsukuyomi he created he had difficulties to breath, i think he would have to be really carefull if he wants to create a tsukuyomi that last longer
So basically it's what i think should be known about Tsukuyomi.
