I’m watching Akame Ga Kill. It’s very good but it’s short. A dark anime. Reminds me a lot of attack on titan, seem like no character is safe from dying

Currently Tower of God, it's a Korean webtoon and not anime but it is getting its anime version, the dubbed one just started at episode 1, however the japanese one with subs is at around episode 10, alternatively if you can't wait, there are a lot of chapters released already, it's like a manga but in color.

its called A Trail of Blood in english...the japanese name is Ido no Wachi or something like that. probably butchered it

but its soo good. like a psychological manga about this kid with this psycho mom. the art really captures the emotion well also but its a trip

I tried the anime for Kengan Ashura, wasn't really for me, the art was rough imo, maybe the manga will be better. If you like fighting stuff you should check out Kenichi History's Mightiest Desciple if you haven't already. Some pretty good fight scenes, some silly comedy and some cool characters.

What's a good list of 5 mangas and tv shows that are currently good to watch?

Well im reading only korean webtoons and i can totally recommend these 5:
Solo Leveling (My favorite one.. Currently season 2 is being aired every week)
Tower of God (My second favorite.. its story is so good and there are many mysteries about everything in it.. I totally recommend. Sadly, the author SIU currently has hiatus so we are waiting for him to come back and to continue creating this awesome manhwa,)

Hardcore Leveling Warrior

For anime it would be
Tower of God (Cause it got anime adaptation this year and we are waiting for season 2 to be animated)

Just finished tenjho tenge. It wasnt bad. The comedy was pretty left field for what most anime deliver which i enjoyed. Some good fight scenes.
