Well, in the 699 chapter he says 'see ya' as in, he'll return eventually/have a kid/etc.

But- that would imply that the soul-searching he needs is over? (Or not). So I'm just wondering, what could he be doing now? He's evidently busy enough to merit comparison to Naruto by his daughter.

I take that proof from the *********** translation. Salad says she's like Boruto in a sense, where they're looking for attention from their father, who is a bit too busy to pay attention to them. So I'm just wondering what he could be doing. Maybe he just likes trees.

Actually, this whole thing makes me think of one-shot moments where a bit more of the character's life is expanded upon. Kishi designed this ending for speculation, so I bet there will be a lot of sanctioned extras. Cashin' in without the work!
