We know Taijutsu is the only thing other than Sage chakra that can hurt Juubi Jinchuuriki. Sakura was following a plan that Kakashi had devoted, had the luxury of Kaguya being distracted by Naruto/Sasuke/Kakashi, and had the benefit of Kakashi's dissipating Susano'o prevent her from tumbling to her doom.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with Sakura landing a hit on Kaguya given the circumstances.
