What really is Kamaui ? Just sucking people in other world not big deal

Correct me if I am wrong but as far as I think
Kamaui is just an attack in which you suck others
In new world not really a dangerous attack
I just went to a thread named as Nagato vs Obito
People said there that Obito wins because Kamaui hax everyone
And just of Kamaui Obito wins from rinnegen Nagato
But in my eyes it s a simple attack
I mean what really Is this Kamaui?

Unless you have a counter to it, you lose. Simple as that. And there's only two hard counters to it (Kakashi's Kamui and FTG) and maybe a soft counter (BM Naruto). Other than that, nobody can do anything. Nagato can't counter it. He has nothing to do so.

Kamui is a Space/Time Technique. It lets you transport large distances in a short amount of time as well as transport other items/people to the Kamui Dimension [which I hypothesize is the Moon]. Once trapped there, you need one of Obito's Mangekyo Sharingan's to escape, and that seems to be the only effective counter to it. Once it starts, you cannot stop it without a S/T Jutsu of your own [FTG/Kamui]. You can go intangible, so essentially, nothing can touch you and nothing can force you to materialize other than your own lust for victory or an enemy in the Kamui Dimension attacking your phased out self. If Obito gets close to Nagato, he can go intangible so Nagato's attack won't do anything and warp him to another dimension and Nagato basically lost cause he can't get out of there.
