1. Gaara death (sad)
2. Jman death (sad)
3. Deidara getting trolled against sasuke
4. Nagato getting tnj into sacrificing his life for ppl he didn't know (this is really number 1)
5. Sasuke getting rinnigan (this is current)/tied with kabuto getting pnj with Inzami -_- it was like Kishi knew he couldn't logically have itachi beat kabuto at that time so made Jutsu that works only for him U_U (I still don't even fully understand how Inzami which cast someone in infinite genjutsu for not knowing who they true selves are correlates with inzangi which just basically gives u extra life or makes u inverable for attack)

My biggest disappointments (that I can remember):

1. The early war arc. In my opinion, this was a pretty low point in the series; none of the battles had any tension, and the hype that had been built up for the EPIC WAR was betrayed. The formula was essentially "Side Character X faces Y Edo Zombie. X finds a way to relate to Y by rehashing X's most basic character development in the series. Y loses, either by suicide something equally cheesy."

I understand that Kishi wanted to power through the early war so that he could move on to the bigger stuff, but his attempt to give a meaningful send-off to his cast was poorly executed. He didn't need to waste time having Chouji struggle with punching Asuma, which somehow translated into Chouji's battle with his self-confidence (which we've seen a million times already). We didn't need the friggin Kin Gin Bros fight (Seriously, how TERRIBLE was that? It was like a God-awful anime filler, forever tainting the manga). Hanzou, the man who named the Sannin, ended up being essentially a samurai with some poison techniques (because we're to believe he didn't have any means of casting jutsu against Mifune).

Things finally began to pick up when the Edo Kages arrived; at least Gaara received meaningful development, and the action/writing in general were much stronger. Basically, Kishi improved on his implementation of the formula from the earlier War Arc battles, with the added flare of actual Kage-level ninjas finally in the scene.

2. While I've honestly liked everything since Madara arrived, although 628-635 felt like a bit of a lapse in quality. Seeing the no-names return, this time to battle Juubi Spawn, really took away from the Team 7 Reunion; what we REALLY wanted to see was the Edo Hokages in action, and all they did was set up a barrier to give the fodder ninjas an excuse to be relevant. Meanwhile, Madara just twiddled his thumbs.

3. I also didn't really like the Kabuto fight; it started out okay, but JUST as it began to escalate, it turned into nothing but talking. Itachi's constant lectures annoyed me as much as Obito's speeches, which is saying something. The way Kabuto's "Finale" was nothing more than recycled Sound Village techniques really bugged me, and I was less-than-impressed with Izanami.

I suppose Juubi itself was a bit underwhelming, partially due to its ugly design, partially due to the fact that it just kinda sits there and lets people hit it, treating the battle like a turn-based RPG (Kishi really wrote himself into a corner with its power-level at the time). I wish its "Final Form" scrapped the weird face/head and actually looked somewhat respectable.

The last few chapters of the Juubito fight also sucked. So much talking, only to have Obito 1-shot in a single chapter by Tug-of-War (followed by more talking). However, the bulk of the Juubito fight was awesome.

I wanted to quit the anime a few times, but never the series.

With the anime, it was due to an over abundance of fillers and poor animation.

. I planned on quitting after that chapter expecting more rin bullshit, till I heard there was hope obito would be gone. Lo and Behold, madara/BZ got rid of him and saved this manga... for a time.

1.) When the Four Hokage were revived, since Hashirama was supposed to be the one to put an end to Madara and he just ends up on the ground with a stick in his back.

2.) When Madara forced Obito to use Rinne Tensei to revive himself and suddenly, without his eyes or his unlimited chakra/immortality he becomes like 50 times more powerful than he was before.

3.) When Madara became the Juubi's Jinchuriki and just became even more outrageously powerful than he already was. (Because pulling meteors out of space and leveling mountains wasn't godlike enough for Lord Kishi i guess).

4.) When Kaguya pretty much comes out of nowhere and kills the Planet Destroying, Infinite Tsukuyomi casting Madara by having her side ***** stick his hand through his chest (because Guy destroying half his body wasn't enough).

5.) Naruto pulling out his Reverse Harem Jutsu against Kaguya. This ***** takes god tier to a new level, she can summon entire dimensions and you go for comic relief in the midst of this?

Honorable mentions:
-The horrid animation of the Pein/Naruto fight.
-Madara escaping edo-tensei (seriously how many spotlight moments does Kishi need to give Madara? He gets meteors, slashes down mountains, wood style, and defies edo-tensei and its just his warm-up fight).
-Madara stealing Kakashi's eye and being able to just slap it in his skull and use it immediately.

And, this isn't really one moment but when Naruto stopped being about ninja and started being about powerhouses who can use jutsu that pretty much have the force of an atom bomb (Deidara is excused). Basically around the time that Naruto and Bee met up with Obito. If not for Tsunade and Orochimaru I would have stopped reading this manga years ago. But I keep holding on to the hope that Orochimaru is finally going to get his time in the spotlight (but he probably won't.)

current fight. Kaguya isn't attacking anyone. she literally trapped naru and sasu in ice and didn't even bother to do anything but stare. seems like BZ is pulling the strings in telling her what to do

Izanami was a jutsu used to counteract Izanami because obviously certain ninja were and did take advantage of Izanagi to become the head ninja of the Uchiha Clan, so Izanami makes the user find out what they really want instead of giving into greed.
