What purpose will the Kage have?

One thing that annoys me, is that all of the Kages are alive and on their feet now. .. Madara just should have kill them.

But now they are heading towards the Battlefield, what will they do? They barely had a chance against Madara and now they will go against Obito? Are you serious? ... I have a really bad feeling that Kishi will pull out a "combined" attack which involves the Kages and everyone else to finish Obito off. That would be disappointing as hell.

I really don't want the Kages to come and take away important Pages of the Chapters with their attacks (or whatever they're going to do), they already had their chance to glance, they already were in the spotlight and failed. I just hope that Obito kills them for good.

What do you guys think? What will they do?

They are really underrated and hated after Madara defeated them :| They need some impressive feats, especially Tsunade. I can see her activating a Sage Mode.

Nice thread and I agree completly with you, Kishi should let them die after their battle with Madara...

Honestly in my opinion Kishi keep them just for fun service, interaction with other characters and gather as much characters as possible to hype Obito as Juubi Jinchurki it seems...

But don't worry man..., It is just more cannon-fodder to kill for Obito... =D

& I really hope that Obito kills them once and for all. I mean, the Edo Hokages don't stand a chance, what the hell will they do? And noone besides Neji died so far, some more people g2g in this War ... and the "Gokage" are perfect for that role, and nothing else.

I don't see them as fodders and i don't think they will be utterly useless :|

They are still strong shinobis and they have to protect ninja world; no matter how "weak" they are; it is their duty.

Honestly, i find some of them more interesting than edo hokages; they should have stayed dead as legends; they got revieved for the sake of fanservice for kids who love flashy lights and techs; they can get blown up and nothing would happen; they are dead and they concern me less than kages. I don't understand why gokage are getting hated on this much.

Maybe they will evacuate battlefield from fairly weaker ninja for their safety.
I see one or two of them dying though; Oonki and Tsunade could have died and they probably will for passing the flag the new generation.
