What purpose will Gai use the eight gates for?

If Lee or Kakashi dies he is most likely going to use it out of anger/sadness. He said in Part 1 if Lee dies he dies but, that was before the surgery. I don't know I like Gai, don't want him to die.

Against the Kages, I believe Orochimaru will betray them, he has to for the sake of the manga 2 enemies for 7+ elite people we expect to see more from is not enough. Remember what the hype about the 8 gate being stronger than any Hokage, the scenerio would give it a chance to show it.

I am surprised why he did not rage over Neji's death and gone apesh*t over it; but he was also the one who said other ninja that not to lose themselves when a comrade dies.
