What program is good for making mash ups?

I've only ever used Audacity for basic audio editing, but it's free so yeah...

For pro stuff I heard people say Adobe Audition is the best.

I had to look up what a Mash-Up was. You'll need audio editing software like Audacity, Reaper, Cubase. Simply import in each track into the program and line up the parts - edit volumes, etc., and then export as a .wav file. Audacity is free and probably sufficient for this. If you want to simply add a picture of both bands you can use MS paint, GIMP, or Photoshop to create your picture, and then use Windows Movie Maker to incorporate your audio track with the image. If you want to include both music videos you will need video editing software.
