What perks would you rather have?

Option 1:
You have ambition and some ideas that are really valuable, but you lack skill and it's hard for you to reach your goals.

Option 2:
You have skills but no idea what to do with your life, you could easily get a degree and a job but destiny doesn't seem to be on your side.

I'm currently option two and I'm happy with being option two. I plan to jump between several different career fields before settling into one to build experience, and decide on what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I would choose option 1 because anybody can train and develop the required area of skill if you are lacking in that particular area.

It can be scary though, like what if you fail to achieve your goals? IT can be tough if you are not already an expert.

Better to try and fail than never trying at all at least that's what I think.

Trial and error is a way of life until you eventually succeed in something.

Destiny is a bigger deterrence of success than a lack of skills, so I'd pick 1. Option 2 seems like it entails the person constantly encountering setbacks as a price for starting further.
