What other arc have you guys been happy to see end. If feel like when this arc ends everyone is going to be like omg thank you it's finally over. I probably got caught up to the manga by punk hazard and the was kinda only really bothered by the last couple of chapters of dessersoa. So has anyone else been bother by earlier arcs

Looking back at it, even punk hazard was a better arc than Dressrosa. That was by far the shittier arc. The only problem with punk hazard was that people assumed that that version of luffy was the limit. And than the Vergo thing :lmao:

Do you know how many people thought that Vergo can beat Luffy, Zoro, Law, and even Sanji? Good god people said some dumbass shit for that guy. Like nobody (talking about luffy) is going to 2 years of training only to be vice admiral level when he was already low-vice admiral level during the paramount war arc.
But all that aside Dressrosa arc ending was a reliever, whole cake island had some potential, and the wano is all the hype right now because you have absolute beasts going into that country.

I feel like Oda put himself in this mess where he is stuck making enormous arcs every time because he has like 10 main characters now that need development.

He needs side characters that will interact with the mains and the bad guys.

and to fight the mains he will need an equal or bigger amount of bad guys. And everyone needs a bit of story and introduction.

The classic feeling of a One Piece arc like in Usopp's home town with just the 4 of them or on the Baratie and Arlong Park is kind of lost. I still think it's an amazing series but we're now struggling to see everyone, pushing the half of the crew out for years. Luckily it is compensated by the fact that we're seeing all the big guns now that were introduced 20 years ago.

I'm between Mermaid-Island and Dressrosa. My only problem with Mermaid-Island is that its main antagonist is fodder. Dressrosa is long yet understandable, but shouldn't keep long.

This arc and probably Fishman Island. Fishman Island was a binge read so it was tolerable but this is still ongoing. Honestly, I dislike this arc and nothing can save it for me.

Thriller Bark was a chore for me, but that's only because I hated Moria, probably even more than Spandam. Usually the arcs that have terrible villains or main antagonists with shitty personalities, I usually just fall asleep or don't care much for the arc as a whole, unless there's something else that happens on the arc that overshadows what I detest.

This current arc isn't really that bad, but there are a lot of issues, and I am not a fan of Big Mom either, so I guess that makes it worse, but we have Katakuri so I guess it makes it worth while.

I'm not sure where all the hate for Dressrosa comes from, though I guess it can be from the Tontatta tribe and how much attention they were getting when no one really cared for them, but Doflamingo was an amazing character imo, and having Fujitora come on the island as well as Sabo made it even better, despite it being so long.

Punk Hazard was garbage and so was Fishman Island, but Thriller Bark was the absolute worst of the 3 for me.
