I don't think so, u saw how Kisame took down Bee? tat will happen to Mei if they fought......the longer Kisame prolong the fight the stronger he gets, he is like a mini god tree.

bee would have killed kisame if he went full 8 tails. Plot saved kisame. Bee friend the enka guy and big raccoon is the reason bee didn't transform.
