Never cried but the ones that really hit me were during what I felt was the best period of Shippuden: Asuma being killed by Hidan, Jiraiya being killed by Pain, Itachi dying/revealed as a hero, and Kakashi dying by Pain. For me the writing dropped off after Pain was defeated and only picked up last year.

For me, it is Minato's and Kushina's death moment. It was a very beautiful episode they did in the anime and I shed my manly tears at those final moments.

The anime version took the manga part to a higher level, that's why I got teary watching it.

I remember crying especially when Kushina was fading away saying her thanks, so beautiful.

It was one of the best episodes with beautiful soundtracks (ep 248-249), you should watch.
