Our eyes communicate attitudes and emotions. They may indicate surprise and fear. They may convey compassion or love. At times, they may betray doubt or give evidence of grief. We speak with our eyes.

Others may draw conclusions about the Manga/Anime and about what it says on the basis of where we focus our eyes. Observing the expression in the person's eyes, where appropriate, may give you indications as to how to view the situation. If the person is angry or if he is really not interested, you may realize that. If the person is getting impatient, you will usually be able to tell. The expression in the person eyes may alert you to need to adjust your pace when reading, to make added effort to involve a person to insight, to terminate the discussion or, possibly learn how to read the manga.

What most fans lack to realize is eye contact is viewed as an indication of interest in the person being addressed. It is also viewed as evidence that the character speaks with conviction.

Naruto has so much to offer and most people just pass it on as just another manga. Listen, look at those whom the person is speaking, allowing your eyes to meet for a few seconds that is acceptable locally. See individuals, not merely as a group. Looking at individuals can help you vigorate your reading because it will keep you keenly aware of there reaction as well as the emotions that are intact.

Doing this will help you hold the attention of yourself and enable you to benefit fully from the important spiritual, philosophical, and experience being presented by Kishimoto.

I completely agree, it's a shame people don't value and even throw away that side of the anime/manga. I guess ignorance is a trend now, I've seen so many not giving a f**k posts it's like it's something that should make you more bad-a**.. I believe some are just afraid to discuss such things, some even think it's like religion because religion relates very much to that kind of stuff and because they hate religion they also avoid those discussions, It's really a shame..

All of this is true. People don't realize what a big deal eye contact can make in any situation.

We want to live by each other's happiness
Not by each other's misery
The way of life can be beautiful
But we have lost the way
Greed has poisoned men's souls
Has barricaded the world with hate
Has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed
We have developed speed
But we have shut ourselves in
Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want
Our knowledge has made us cynical
Our cleverness hard and unkind
We think too much and feel too little..

(Charlie Chaplin speech from the 1940 movie The Great Dictator)

You're overrating Kishimoto's work on that last sentence.

A really interesting post.... The best thing about Naruto series is how characters overcome hatred in their hearts.... like Naruto,Gaara and Killer B.... The Waterfall of Truth is one of the best things of Naruto.... :)
