What makes NB fun and enjoying for you? (I'm mostly referring to the threads) I see people complaining that it used to be more fun in the past so I wondered what makes it fun for you... I'm personally bored to no end right now and I only see BS threads.

Threads are unoriginal.

People are generally less intelligent.

I don't understand people who only see the bad things of some place (do not talk about NB only) and are still there and still talking about that and still not leaving.
Why?
If everything is shit, then you should leave and everyone will be happy. You, because you won't be at that shitty place anymore, the place, because it will be free of your negative comments and the people of the place, because they won't read that negative things no matter are they reality or not. This forum is honestly trash compared to some more established ones I've seen as far as layout.

I've never been on a forum where basic knowledge and intelligence seems to be so low on average. ( Though to be fair I understand that views and discussions are always skewed by cultural and lingual barriers.

It's almost intriguing how abnormally many people on this site behave. I remained tied by this interest. However the increased frequency of the former is making it less and less interesting to be here. Not to the point that I have given up, but to the point that my interest dwindles after a short time of visiting the site.
The answer to your underlying question however is quite simple, self explanatory in fact. If you can't find that yourself then you should reevaluate your analysis.

It doesn't insult my intelligence. It just intrigues me.
And I use another forum, the one that I alluded to I use on a daily basis, and while all the people on there are definitely not consistently above average it seems to be a more realistic balance, I enjoy my time there much more.

There are certain capacities that I cannot fulfill there that I can fulfill here. So to speak.

Also to clear any misconceptions, I am not speaking of intelligence to flaunt my own, I don't think mine is exceptional, however I feel anyone of general means of conception would understand to an extent what I observe.
