I've been trying to read a lot of Mangas, but I always stop at 1-2 chapters.
I really like the Anime, but I don't really like the Mangas. Mangas don't give me the feels, which Anime give me.
When I read a book for example it gives me a lot of feels, but Manga is just different. :/
Any suggestions how I can like Manga more? Or will I just have to live with it?

Reading a manga is pretty boring to me except for a select few.

Depends upon manga. I generally prefer manga when animation isn't top notch or when anime has a lot of fillers.

Pretend the characters are moving and speaking as if you're watching the anime.

yes its the same as movies and books.

difference is that books give more detail and helps you analyze the story more.

so if you like looking for supporting evidence and stuff like that....

on the other hand movies is better for me. I suggest for.manga the better the artwork and dialogue the more you like?

also action is a key if you like that too

Idk

I just like interesting stories and good fights. It doesn't matter if it's a manga, a comic book, anime, cartoon, movies....

Same here. I only read Naruto and AgK because it takes too long for AgK Anime. :/
But I enjoy the Anime a lot more.

Okay, I only like Manga to catch up.

But tbh I like books more than movies. But it's the other way around with Manga/Anime for me.

I agree with this. when you have Animes with tons of fillers. I tend to go with the manga. But if the anime is done well and animated well, and also follows the cannon material without a heavy amount of fillers then I can settle with just watching the anime.

Really depends on the Manga/Anime

Like have you read Feng Shen Ji? I love that Manga. it is drawn excellently. Every issue is a color issue and the story and characters are great! (even if many of their names are difficult to remember XD )

I prefer animes over manga ....but when I get seriously hook on the series I just have to read the manga & end up loving it anyways , is all about how the story hooks you , that you don't even mind reading .

There are only some cases when I like manga better than anime, and that's pretty much when an anime isn't finished. If an anime is completely finished, I can binge watch it and get a better understanding than I can from reading scans in a manga. Depending on the action, some manga can be hard to read if you don't understand all the SFX or have seen any supporting animation that gives life to the manga. I prefer anime cause I feel like it embodies characters better than a manga can most of the time IMO.

I say if you want to really like reading manga, try admiring the art style of the artist or maybe make voices in your head. The latter sounds weird but some people do it. And as for the former, that worked for me and One Piece. Oda has quite a style in art but his style is so creative it just makes you wonder... How the f*** does this guy think of these things? There are many details in a manga that's easy to overlook in an anime. So just try and pick up on those while you read and you might enjoy it more. Hopefully anyway.

Ahh Punk! Man, I thought you had gone inactive  Good to see you man.

Oh, and I agree with what was just said too, sometimes a story is so good you can't help but be hooked. Whether you watch it or read it, you just want more, you should see if you can find any manga or anime like that, OP.

To me, there's not much difference between anime and manga.

It's the same here for me, I really liked AgK so I had to read it. I'm only at chapter ten because I started today but well, better than nothing

I like to read, its as simples as that, oh and everything is canon.

Okay. Thanks for your opinion on this

Yeah, I have one AgK. And I'll try to do that with other Mangas too. I wanted to catch up with Bleach and OP anyway, so I'll just check the Mangas of both out. ^^

I just like getting ahead

Same here, I should definitely try.

I don't know how you will start reading a manga from very start.. but if you have already watched about 10-20 ep of any anime, go for manga and then it will really look interesting. This is what happens to me too.
